Mirela Buliga has 11 years of experience in tax consulting and in assisting and representing clients in substantive and procedural matters pertaining to tax law litigation, in connection with both national and international/EU tax law.
She is visiting professor at the Faculty of Law of the Bucharest University, teaching “Taxation of Non-residents” and “EU Tax Law” as part of the Tax Law Master Programme, and at the West University of Timișoara (“Universitatea de Vest”), the School of Economics and Business Administration, where she teaches “Double Taxation Conventions” in the MA programme.
Mirela Buliga is a member of the International Fiscal Association – Romanian Branch, heads the tax law division of the Romanian Business Law Review and is the author/co-author of various books, articles, studies and commentaries published in reputed reviews, in particular in the field of tax law.
She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law within the West University of Timișoara and of the Master Programme in Business Law from the Faculty of Law of the same university. She holds a PhD in tax law (magna cum laude) from the Faculty of Law in Timișoara.
She is fluent in English.
