Mihaela AFANASOV provides legal advice, assistance and representation to national and international public and private entities.
Her experience in the labour law draws upon the legal advice she has supplied in various cases deriving from labour relations.
In the area of administrative law and public procurement, she provides legal advice and representation to contracting authorities, but also to corporate bidders, in matters such as: interpretation and enforcement of the laws governing public procurement, the preparation and implementation of the award documentation, the performance of procedures, submission of challenges and defenses before the National Challenge Resolution , the conclusion and fulfillment of procurement contracts (including for projects financed from non-reimbursable funds), representation in specific litigation.
In the practice of competition law, she assists economic operators both upon the enforcement of/compliance with the competition laws, and during procedures conducted before the Competition Council and during competition law disputes.
She has graduated from the Faculty of Law of Bucharest University (2007) and holds a bachelor’s degree in EU law, from the French-Romanian Law College of European Studies – Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University (2006). She further has a master’s degree in private law, from Bucharest University (2008), and a master’s degree in European and International Business Law from the French-Romanian Law College of European Studies – Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University (2007).
She was awarded a Graduation Certificate in “Social and Civic Skills”, by the Ministry of Labor, Family and Equal Opportunities, the Ministry of Education, Research and Youth, for the social and civic skills acquired, in particular in the field of equal rights and equal opportunities.
She is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
