- Has an MA degree in “Justice Career” from the Faculty of Law (Bucharest University);
- Graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Studies, specialising in Finance and Banks at the “TOMIS” University in Constanţa.
The practical work he did in various law firms provided Florentin with an opportunity to optimally integrate his theoretical knowledge with his judicial practice. He participated in a civil procedure moot organised by the Faculty of Law of the Bucharest University, but also in a number of competitions, among which worth mentioning are the “Law Schools’ Hexagon” and the “Business Ideas” competition, winning the top places every time.
His accountability, his capacity to communicate very well at all levels, his enthusiasm and innovative spirit recommended him to become part of the LDDP’s team.
Florentin is specialised in civil litigation, commercial law and tax law, and has acquired experience in most of the areas that are related to this specialisation.
He has successfully assisted and represented clients in court, in their relationship with the authorities and the public institutions, as well as in front of other natural or legal persons, in complex matters covering various legal areas such as: court actions involving titles to property and land book matters, court claims, contractual disputes, contraventional complaints, special procedures, challenges filed against foreclosure proceedings.
He has been part of the team that provided consulting services to some famous local and international companies in transactions worth millions of euros.
He has been involved in major tax law litigations and has provided legal opinions about various issues involving: VAT, corporate tax, income tax, local taxes and levies.
He has participated in a number of national and international conferences and published scientific papers e.g. “Foreclosures – Ways and means to recover tax receivables into the state’s general consolidated budget” (international scientific conference titled “Ensuring the economic and management viability for the sustainable development of the regional economy in the context of the EU integration, The Faculty of Exact Sciences, Economics and Environmental Sciences attached to “Alecu Russo” state-owned university of Bălți, the Republic of Moldova), “EU and the promotion of human rights” (scientific session of the EU Law Club focusing on “EU’s aquiring the status of party to the EU Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms”, University of Bucharest, the Faculty of Law) etc.
Florentin is an ambitious young man and his personal motto is: “Climb the mountain so you can see the world, not so the world can see you” (David McCullough Jr.).
He speaks English and French.
