Aurora DAMCALI has over 20 years experience in domestic litigation proceedings and has in-depth knowledge of civil law, administrative law and insolvency law. In particular, her experience focuses on rights in rem, administrative procedures, town planning legislation, public procurement, civil and commercial contracts, negotiations on collective bargaining agreements.
Aurora provides legal assistance in complex matters of civil law, environmental law and administrative law, before central and local public authorities. She has successfully represented clients in disputes pending before courts of justice specialising in civil law, administrative law or labour law. Her expertise also encompasses international arbitration, in particular proceedings relating to investment, conducted before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington.
She has graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Romanian-American University (1999), is a member of Bucharest Bar Association (2000), has a master’s degree in Business Law, from the Faculty of Law of Titu Maiorescu University (2006), and is a doctoral student in administrative law of the Faculty of Law of the University in Bucharest (2013).
She is an associate professor of administrative law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest.
Aurora has authored and co-authored a numerous articles and studies published in high-profile law reviews, mainly on the topic of administrative law.
