Alina Nicoleta POPA
Alina Popa is an experienced lawyer with more than 13 years of expertise. Alina focuses on insolvency and civil law. Alina has extensive experience in litigation and she coordinated the legal approach in several complex insolvency cases.
She is a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2005 and a Member of the Romanian Insolvency Practitioners Association (UNPIR) since 2010.
One of her main experiences was working with PwC – one of the largest consultancy firms in the world, being involved, as an expert, in revising the insolvency law and drafting the Insolvency Code, together with some of the most prestigious lawyers, insolvency practitioners and scholars on the Romanian market.
Also, she is interested in training other insolvency practitioners, being a speaker on professional conferences and trainer at INPPI (The Continuing Education Institute for Insolvency Practitioners).
Alina co-authored the Practical Treatise on Insolvency, Hamangiu Publishing House, Bucharest, 2014.
She has a working command of English and French.
